Hi

Really as the title said, it is my last day tomorrow and I am not working till september, I agreed with the family to terminate the contract so we are not tied to each other

Do I need a letter? if so does anybody has a template?

Thanks

Hi, noticed there had been lots of views of this, but not replies!

I'm pretty sure the reason for that is because its too late now! You are supposed to give written notice at the beginning of the notice period. So if your notice period is four weeks, then you would have given the parent the letter four weeks ago!

I would just do a short letter now to formalise that your contract has come to an end and at what date and detailing any monies due.
