Here is a pic of my first story sack just got to print and laminate my bingo game and then thats it all done.

i haev done it all by myself sourcing things from ebay and members from here dcms. and chells shop.

its old macdonald had a farm,


i have also done the very hungry caterpillar but not finished that yet

i bought it off ebay cost about £6 but i couldnt have made it cheaper as i would have to get material look at pillow case but would need a decent one to make sure would last then sewing it and making it drawstring then putting pic on it i got 2 off her this and hungry cat just look on ebay for hungry caterpillar.

that's brilliant well done you!!!! I'm thinking of doing a gruffalo one as I've just bought the books and my dd's love them at the moment!

It looks great - well done you. I've made three story sacks over the past year and whats so versatile is that you never finish them off. You can be out shopping one day and see a finger puppet or a toy which you know will work so well with all the other things you've added to the sack. They are such wonderful resources which are always a huge hit with the children. My story sacks are The very hungry caterpillar, three little pigs and the gingerbread man. I'd like to do more!

i have told the other cm in my area about your site as she is also getting grant and was looking at puppets and sing and sign books, she is looking at priddy book wants on eof those aswell.

i have one that hangs by thr front door, fire policy says that i have it to grab if i leave at that entrance, to occupy mindees, thats if there was a real fire


its old mc donald too, tracters and puzzles books masks etc

i may need a bigger sack been sortingthrough my stoarge boxes full of toys 20 of them:blush: plush what i have out and found some lovely farm related books some animals flash cards big dominos etc the bag is so full now.
