Circle ideas

Were learning about shapes and this week is our circle week.
So far I have planned painting, sticking and collaging with different circles.
Does anyone have any other ideas that we could do?

erm...:idea:

circle singing - ring a roses / farmers in den

circle games - throwing a ball/bean bag to the next/opposite person

Creative painting with wheels

Use cutters to make all food circular.

I am sure there are many more but having a mental block on all things round!

hoola hooping.....though bit cold outside....

drawing round plates cups etc.....colour or paint ,decorate then do a collage of different size circles.

depending on age spot a circle shape around the house......write them down.

circle shapes biscuits yum!

Why is it when I am thinking of things for myself my mind goes blank ha!:laughing:

when I do my planning I try to cover all areas of the L&D areas of the EYFS

what circle things can you do under KUW? colours of olympic rings?

We've just made cookies and rice crispy buns both round and yummy:D

I have just had my new sets of poi arrive today - they make cool circles when the kids swing them. Just a plain ribbon or streamer would do though.
