RAC!

i felt like bursting into tears, just taken baby m for his injection (mum asked me to take him because of all the time they have had to take off with him being so ill, got consent forms etc) i cried when they stuck the needle in after all he has been through, im not taking him for the next one. anyway starts to put them in my car and the central locking will not work, went to shop changed battery, still will not work, babys in back of car and i cannot undo the doors to get to them, i know ill go home and call rac. babys had fell asleep in the car so i sat and waited, the receptionist had put it through as priority. gets a call from the rac enginer, he says so there not locked in! iv had to come off my lunch break because they said you had babys in the car locked in , i said i do, i cannot get to them through the passanger door. he was not happy but im not happy either, how dare he, iv complained! i just wanted to cry. all it was was a b..... fuse, but i didnt change it because in the hand book it says danger to life, so i didnt risk it.:angry: :angry: :angry:

Oh Hazel that's awful. What a nasty person he must have been. I hope you gave him a piece of your mind!

I gave up on RAC years ago when they refused to come out with me cos it was ex-husband's policy and he wasn't with me! I had a broken down car and 3 children with me.

Have a coffee and a sit down... hope you feel calmer soon xx

I don't like RAC, never got good service from them.

I'm now with AA and they are brilliant. A few months ago my tyre burst while driving. I rang them with very vague details of where I was. I told them I had a baby with me. While talking to them my mobile battery died and they couldn't get hold of me. The AA driver found me by driving up and down various roads (probably thought b****y woman driver, but who cares!!!).

Anyway he changed my tyre but said not to drive to far on the spare because it wasn't a very good one. He offered to take me to a nearby garage. He escorted me to the garage, waited with me while they changed it (nearly 3/4 of an hour because there was a queue and then escorted me back to the motorway. Hows that for service. He was so nice and I thought it was above and beyond.

That's disgraceful Hazel. I hope when you are feeling a bit better you will send an extremely strong complaint letter in. Poor you.

I have just changed from the A to RAC wish I hadnt now.

Thats so awful, I hope you have complained, I think would have given the RAC man a piece of my mind.
