having to turn down a full time place..

gutted, just had a call for a full time place, baby 5mth old.

i've already verbally promised 2 part time places (tues/Wed/Thurs) to 2 friends, in a panic when setting up that i wouldn't get any kids.

Would much rather have a stranger willing to pay full money, no "hidden friend agenda"

Oh well I suppose thats the way the cookie crumbles.. can't help thinking i've made a big mistake though. Can't really see many people wanting a part time place on a Monday and Friday only.

I'll just have to hope someone will..

Bummer! I would love a full timer.

You will be surprised who wants what days though.

I had 2 monday and 2 friday left and jumped at the chance of taking on a little girl on Friday, 6 hours, term time only a I thought nobody will want the Friday place. The next day, I got calls for twins for the Friday only 8 hours and ended up applying to OFSTED for a variation!

I still have my 2 monday places but I am really enjoying having a day with just my children at the mo!

Aahh that is such a shame!

You never know you might be able to fill Monday & Friday.

If someone works from home and is flexible with the days it might work out or you might have 2 seperate enquiries for one day only.
