Have you tried bubble wrap painting..they can pop the bubbles as they press down and makes fab pictures.

Or

what about different sponge shapes or using different materials ie potatoes with cut outs.

I think children can do anything with painting but may need assistance with some ....in case they try to eat it ....

I have some sponge brushes my little ones use. What about doing printing with different objects like potatoes, cups, toy cars......

HI
TESCO DO SOME FAB FUNNY MATERIAL BRUSHES & DABBERS & ALSO ROLLERS WITH DIFFERENT SHAPES ON THEM. THEY ALL GIVE DIFFERENT EFFECTS & OURS LOVE USING THEM INSTEAD OF NORMAL PAINTBRUSHES OR THEIR HANDS.
THEY ARE NOT TOO HARD FOR THE LO'S TO HOLD & USE SO GIVE THEM A TRY X:littleangel:

roll a toy car thro some paint then over piece of paper. It makes great tyre tracks and looks really good if you do it on coloured paper.

what about vegetable printing, chop up veg and let them print with it? xx

I use a plastic tray - squeeze blobs of paint onto it, let them squish it round with their fingers/hands then when they've finished lay some paper over the top to take a print of it.

ELC sell easy painters - sponge tipped paint pens which are easy for little ones to use and not too messy.
