After spending all weekend cleaning I had 2 sets of parents call today.

They came together because mums work together and wanted the same childminder so that they could swap days if needed.

I really want this contract because it would fill all my spaces for Sept.

I felt it went really well and we got on. They were impressed by my parent packs, newsletters etc. but they have another cm to see tomorrow.

Anyway, I was telling one of my mums how it went and she said some lovely things about how happy her daughter is and that I am always prepared to go the extra mile to keep little ones happy etc.

She even offered to speak to the parents for me to recommend me!! :D So I asked her to write me a reference which she was happy to do.

I am just so touched - that I don't even care whether I get contract it was just so nice to be appreciated!!

Oh she is even considering changing her choice of school so I can do pick-ups!!

There are some lovely parents out there, I had a lovely plant given to me today by a mindees mum because she appreciates all the things that i do with her son,and she said he wouldnt do half the things that he does if he was at home. It made me feel very appreciated.
