pets theme

has anyone got any good idea for activities for the theme pets , my childminding kids decided they wanted to do this theme as i have just got a new hamster.
can anyone help me put ideas into the area of eyfs

Get the children to draw or bring in photo's of their pets CLL
Move like a pet PD
You can do lots of creative activities CD

How old are the LO's?:)

Discuss the different food pets eat and look at the pictures of the pets, talk about the different fur, hair, feathers etc... what would they feel like? What names they have, what pet would they really like to have.

Make cards with a pictures of animals (the children's pets it they have one) and make care card, what food they eat and how often, if they need to be walked etc...

And while in the pet shop you could count the number of budgies, rabbits, fish etc. MD
