I am looking for a checklist form to use when a child first attends my setting obviously observation is the main way to see what the child is like. E.g what does the child like to play with, how they communicate etc but it is something simple that I could then show what the next steps would be iyswim. I have all about me and learning journals but this would be a short form at the front. It would be similar to baseline assessment that the children have at end of nursery before going to school.

Hi

I'm sorry if this seems like a dumb question, I am trying to get organised for my impending Ofsted visit!

I think this is a fab way to record progress but my question is, is there anywhere I can get hold of the 6 areas of learning for each stage to print out so that I can make notes?

Thanks
