Need some advice

Hi I was thinking of having something in writing when I have to have a few works with any of my mindees. I had some real problems with one after schooler and thinking about it I have nothing in writing about what happened. What do you do. Do you have a "book" or do you just type something up and get the parents to sign it.

I record stuff like that in my own minding diary, I note in there if I have informed parents etc.

Do you mean like an incident report or more along the lines of daily diaries (individual or CM one\0> it would help to answer if you could elaborate on the type of problem then we could advise as to the appropriate paperwork IYSWIM!:)

If I have had to tell any mindee off or they have done something that I dont think is acceptable. I had a mum of one of my mindees who blamed me, other mindees and the tooth fairy for her sons behaviour. I am just worried that if she complained about me I dont have anything in writing.
