As there has been advertisements on the tv about returns and consequently a lot of questions I thought I would clarify what is fact.
Tax returns that have to be lodged and any tax due paid is for the financial year 2008/2009 and NOT 2009.2010 as we haven't finished that year yet!
You still have plenty of time to lodge the return online and even if you haven't registered to do so and get your password and member number.
Failure to lodge a return could result in a £100 late fine plus interest on any taxes due.
