had new mindee start this week only 6months old mum really nervous he been for a few taster sessions, anyway had brill 4 days with him mum said tonight she was so happy i had looked after her as much as her son this week, and they were both really happy they had chose me i was so touched

then we were chatting as she was putting his coat on i mentioned i was going out for tea and bottle of wine with my friend tonight (it was nice) she went in her handbag pulled out £20 said please have the wine on me i was so shocked been minding 14yrs had loads of presents but never nothing like that espically in first week will it last :clapping: :clapping:

thats lovely, makes you feel really appreeciated when parents do something nice especially when you least expect it... i do hope you enjoyed that very large bottle of wine :laughing:

Oh how lovely, i have been doing the exact opposite and putting my hand in my pocket and giving it back to my parents, working for nothing and listening to sob stories!

how lovely. I think they are just so relieved when their precious lo is happy and they know they don't have to worry!

thanks everyone i just tryed my best al week the mum struggled first week back to work etc i prob have gone out my way a bit to help but thats what im here for and yes it was a large bottle and i got work tomorrow oh dear
