I got my certificate through the post 2day!! mixed feelings as it has taken me a very long time 2 get this due to problems.. im not up and running as yet and wont be until got things prepared.

[/LIST]i am aloud 6 children does that mean i can have 6 children as an overall number or 6 children per day if i wanted to?

also even if i am not up and running can ofsted stil come and visit me for an inspection

and iv read ofsted could turn up at any time whilst i am childminding is this true or do they tel u?

congrats! if you allowed 6 children it means you can have 6 at any one time. not 6 overall, so you could have 6 one day and a different set on another day.

they prob wont inspect you for grading until you are looking after children. they will aim to come to you in the first 6 months of you childminding. they will phone to let you know roughly the week, but might not give you a certain day/time etc.
