Does anyone use a care plan for the children they look after or have an indivual learning plan and can send me a copy for me to use.

Thanks

Hello Wendy and welcome to the forum!

Don't forget to introduce yourself to everyone and say hi!

What sort of IEP are you looking for?

Childminders will have to plan individually for each child as part of EYFS, but IEPs tend to come from other agencies and we are asked to work within them.

Talk soon :D

Hi Wendy

If you explain a bit more exactly what you're after we could point you in the right direction

If you have a child with a disability or special needs you are suppose to keep a care plan?

Oh I see... well, you would ask parents about the child's individual needs and record them, keeping them updated and working closely with parents and other agencies.

Not as formal as a medical or health authority 'care plan' ...but yes, a plan of care for the child I suppose.

I've never had a proper one to fill out, I just ask questions depending on the care the individual child needs :D
