Hi
I am in the process of being nursery funded. My eyso has informed me in our area 2 years old can access the funding...my dd will be 2 inmarch so was wondering if i could apply for her to recieve nursery funding in my own setting......
.i am sure the answer will be no...but just thought i would ask if anyone else has young children and is nursery funded.

happy new year to you all :)

Yes if you are accredited you can claim the funding for your own LO at your setting.:clapping:

I didn't think you were allowed, Blaze. Has this changed recently? I always thought it was unfair so it'd be great news if it's allowed.

In Leeds we can claim for our own 3 year olds but the funding for 2 year olds is only for children who are deprived or in need - it is still in trial here, they have just said that childminders with good or outstanding can offer the 2 year old care though as well as nurseries and childrens centres so it is a start isnt it!
