I have wanted this for ages but kept being put off by the price. I tried to buy one on ebay but bidding went higher than new price so I took the plunge.
Kids are playing with it as we speak

It's lovely. I don't think the price is too bad as you can put it through your books. I want one now.

Oh wow! I am sooo jealous! **insert green with envy smiley**

The children use one at Childminding group but I've always resisted the temptation to buy one for here - just always seemed just a little bit too expensive...

We need to come round yours to play I think! :D

I've got one insitu ready and waiting for that dreaded phone call. I borrowed it from the childminding group together with some mullti cultural dolls and some multi cultural books and asian girls clothes I think they'd like me to return it so they can keep it locked away in the cupboard again. They have two of most things and thats why they were given by sure start, so tough I'm holding on until Ofsted have been and by then the children will be fed up with them and it will be time for a change.. the one I have is metal and I think rather dangerous as the children keep running it into the backs of other childrens ankles and it hurts so when I can afford one I shall buy a nice colourful plastic one.

Hi,
I have that wheelchair too but i got mine free when i first became registered. I received a box of goodies containing wheelchair, indian doll, jewish sack (book, hat, plate etc),multi-cultural jigsaws oh and an african drum. Also got a Grumpy pack...think thats what it was called....loads of paints, brushes, coloured paper, paste and brushes etc. I just assumed everyone got these???

The Baby bjorn doll is too big but the ELC doll fits nicely.

Gosh I wish I was in Manchester always got so much more there Your pack was probably donated by Grumpy where you can join to £10.00 and go and get tonnes of great arts and crafts stuff gor next to nothing everything sooooo much cheaper there. Paints etc usually seconds, could be damaged bottles or shade not quite right but hey who cares. I've been there in the past but not for ages.

In fact the paints and sugar paper I'm using now are from there. Take a look on the internet they have a site with info about it.

Where in Manchester are you based? I used to live in Didsbury 1987 I came from Ireland and stayed there for 2.5-3 years I met DH a year after moving and have moved about in cheshire since with a quick year break in London.
