Hi. Does any of you know of any websites, shops or anywhere else I can buy toys showing disabilities and diversity that don't cost the earth? All the sites I have been on have lovely toys but cost a fortune. thanks

Nope - sorry :( They seem to be so expensive. I bought some lovely (very expensive) multicultural musical instruments, and aside from that I tend to weave it into what we have (eg Happy Land style stuff, or in books....)

Hi there

Our local group has bought some things from the Festival Shop, it has a website and I've just googled it, we share things around as most of the things are too expensive to buy!

I think we all on the forum cleared them out when they had a sale on!!!

Its worth checking with them (or on here) to see if they have a sale coming up. Things were a lot cheaper but sold out quickly.

Other than that, I look in the charity shops for books/clothing - also the 99p Stores/Poundland - sometimes they have books or toys that could do for multicultural. I got a rastafarian hat with dreads in a cheap shop once!:D

Also, you can go to this website:

You can print off different paper dolls and decorate them/colour them in or print them out coloured in.
