Just had my 4yo mindee walk in with dad holding a sick bowl!!

'where do you want me to put this? M has been sick in the car on the way. He was sick last night in asda but i think its just cold'

:eek:

I said "you can put it in the bin on your way out...i cant look after him'

'why not he's only got cold'

'no way!! im looking after 4 other kids today and im sure there parents would appreciate me sending thme home with sickness for christmas.....sorry'

Dad couldnt believe i wasnt going to have him!!!!:eek: :eek:

How funny that dad told you he had been sick last night and again this morning (armed with sick bowl!!!:laughing: ) and he STILL expected you to care for this child!!!

Cheeky so and so, well done you though, it's so hard to be strong when they're so blatent! Trouble is next time he'll leave sick bowl in car and not tell you:laughing:

You made my jaw drop! I had to refuse a child on Monday because he was sick sunday night and the mum said she would decide in the morning whether she was bringing him or not and let me know, so i let her know first!

Same here. Someone else deals with the sick. Luckily older DS doesnt mind either
