did you get the bit about not having to many children on the books as your child would get less time devoted to it and you should choose a minder with experience as they are better rather than qualifications. How judgemental is she and whats the betting she is not a childminder nor ever has been

I'm a bit confused anyway as at oen stage she says we can look after five children and earlier she said six. I shall have to cut a child in half  I don't have an alarm on my door and nobody apart from me decides whether or not I cook for the kids. As for a propective parent spending the whle day with me.....

her state of mind - she really hasn't got a clue what she is talking about, she knew REAL minders would see it and knew she may not be able to walk the streets safely, she was reading from a script - she actually had no idea what the 'interview' was supposed to be about.......

I was all for her to start with apart from having a parent with me all day!!! I thought everything she was saying was fair enough.......

But then! She started saying your toddler could be taken on a 3 hour school run!!! Right!!! And then about how flexible we are....apparently we can look after children up til 8 or 9 at night if 'the parent' wants!!! Weekends too!

If a parent watched this and then visited a childminder, that parent would be in for a shock!

That's why she irked me- she spoke with such authority about a subject she bviously knows nothing about. What she says are things we may do - but not that all good childminders have to

SO funny!!!!:ROFL1: :ROFL1: :ROFL1:

The main point being we are cheaper than nannies then?!

Oh and checking out everyone that lives with us, my dh would love that one!

So, who does a 'massive' 3 hour school run? Mine's a paltry 30 mins.
