i posted on here the other day about a little boy i have who wont eat sandwichs at lunch time and is sick if he eats anything, you all came up with some lovley suggestions and heres the result
yesterday he took one bite of sausage roll and didnt puke but said no more thanks, i said ok and gave him some drawing to do whilst the others ate leaving his lunch near him incase he wanted more but he didn't.
today i put 4 mini sausages on his plate, he picked oneup then put it down sayng 'enough' , i only have him and a baby today so i let him get down and watch cbeebies whilst i fed baby.
now i know for a fact that when he goes home he will be given chocolate, then he will eat his tea plus part of his mums tea and in the morning has more than my two kids will eat for breakfast so obviously he is eating so much at home he really dosent need a midday meal, i have tried talking to mum about this (no dad) but it dosent bother her.
thing is should i carry on as i have the last 2 days or should i be telling him to eat lunch, i only have him 2 days a week, he is nearly 3 so will be going to preschool soon and also goes to leapfrog 3 days a week where he also pukes at lunch time as they encourage him to eat his lunch that he dosent really want. he is by no means a small child and if anything a little overweight
is it ok to just ask him if he wants lunch and if he says no leave it at that or should i put somthing infront of him anyway.
