and it was fab :)

The Inspector was lovely, really friendly and she interacted with the kids all the time. She was here for 2 hours and gave me lovely feedback, she said the kids were lovely, I was doing a really good job, and all in all it was a lovely inspection and I am chuffed to bits with my grading, She even told me that I had under marked myself in my SEF!

The kids were little stars too :)

Oh and I would highly recommend that anyone who has an inspection coming up, complete the SEF or make sure you have an evaluation to view as the Inspector I had today said today that she was pleased I had taken time to fill it in, it had given her an insight into my setting and actually probably helped in keeping the inspection to a quick time!

:D :D

If you want to tell us we won't tell anyone!

Sounds like a very successful inspection... well done you! :clapping:

lol Sarah!!

The Inspector didnt say I had to keep anything private...just said my report will be sent in about 20 days! I told my mum and my DH ;)

Put it this way, it was not outstanding and it wasnt satisfactory so I would say it was somewhere inbetween ;) ;) and I am pretty chuffed with my first grading :)

Wow Bex, so chuffed for you :clapping: I'm due the call any minute, I've written out part of my SEF on paper, do a little bit at a time. Glad it all went well for you.
Hope that I don't get the 'unfriendly' Mrs Ofsted as everyone seems to have had all the nice ones! :D

Well done you - glad it was a good inspection.

Did you get registered in Dec '08 - in which case it's been 11 months before your first inspection?

I thought it was 4 - 6 months after registering and am already panicking :panic: If it could be that long I can relax a bit!!

Cazz, Yep I was registered in Dec 08 but didnt start minding until end of March and then due to various problems with Ofsted, they said the phoned but I hadnt had any calls or messages etc, nothing was heard until I contacted them in October to chase up the inspection!!
