55 hours at the moment, 7.30 to 6pm for monday to friday, i do not work weekends and would have to be beyond destitute at the moment to do that.

It is hard work, 9 out of our 14 on our books are in the EYFS.

I work 42 hours at the moment. But thats one little girl for 3 full days and then 3 hours after school each day.

In March when the little girl leaves I will be working 15 hours a week - that will be 3 hours a day after school - can't wait :clapping: (although will miss little one of course :D )

I work 42.5 a week. Finish at 2.30 on Friday, which is lovely, cos it means I can collect my DD from school and spend some time with her.

still wonder why I work that many hours for profit of about 6k a year though.
A minimum wage job for those hours would pay me about twice as much.

I do 47.5 a week, which is awful when you think of all our hrs and put it against our yearly wage :(

I work from 7.30 - 18.00 monday to friday so about 53 hours a week

then there is the rest of the work like preparing stuff, cleaning, advance cooking, shopping...dont get me wrong I do some of this while mindees are here especially when they are napping...but there is still the bulk of it which I do when they have gone home.

I work abt 36 hours a week, so works out nicely.

I have tonnes to do in the evenings etc, and should do so much more than I do, but this forum just stops me in my tracks.

SEF vs Forum ?

Its a no contest. :D

16 hours. 1 hour before school and 3 hours after school Monday-Thursday.
Fridays off.
Up to 7 mindee kids at a time aged 5 - 9yrs plus my own 3 aged 6,9,10.
The money is fab - can highly recommend it

I was working 50 hours a week until terminated day time contracts when mum was ill, work 4 hours a day now, 1 hour before school and 3 after so 20 hours across the week and I think I would find it hard now to go back to working full time hours with an under 5 now xxx

10 children at once, Claire, how on earth do you do it????????:panic:

the most I will have at once is 5, and even though my house is quite large (for a 3 bed semi) it is too many children in one place at one time. There are always arguements and they seem to get under each others feet all the time.

I'm working a 55 hour week but no weekends and evenings, I am behind with my accounts and one mindees learning journal, I am behind with my HDC course, I am behind with tidying and cleaning the none-childminding rooms, and desperately trying to catch up on my sleep since my lo has been waking at least 4 times a night, yet I know that spending time on this web site is a priority, as without the help and advice I would have not survived my pre-reg.

My days are between 11 hours and 14 hours... 14 hour ones are every couple of weeks (one mum is a professor and is on the telly those nights, being interviewed)... so I work a minimum of 55 hours per week... not including paperwork time though. I cannot do paperwork with all the littlies there, even during sleepytime I am busy tidying/cleaning/making tea/setting up activity etc.
