Hi,
I know you cannot claim money back through mortgage, but you can with renting.
I just wondered-I do not actually own my house-my partner does..so I give him money each month towards it.
So for me this is like renting/lodging almost, can i claim on this?
If i did claim would it effect him in anyway..would he need to be taxed or something for letting out rooms in the house ( ones i use for Minding)...or perhaps I cannot claim at all as I am co-habiting???
Hope this doesn't sound too silly!
Thanks!
