This is my first post and your help would be gratefully appreciated.

I’m currently trying to complete my initial assessment paperwork so I can join the local childminding network, but I’m struggling to answer the following question.

How do you show that you value and respect the child’s parents?

Your thoughts on the subject would be welcomed.

you ask them about the family and disscuss their child with them, you ask about culture or religion and offere activities that would not offend them.
you askparents for input in to your setting etc....

hope this helps

As above - wish that question was asked in reverse on occasion!
