Sorry.

What do you put in your risk assessment about temperature of water? I will have a hot/cold tap poster but do I need to stop the water getting too hot or something?

Also, do I need to mention having a cleab towel, spare toilet roll, step etc available in the risk assessment or can that just be in my daily check?

Thanks so much everyone.

I think that you can turn the temp of your water down, on the boiler.

Personally, I haven't, but then I actively discourage the children from using hot water. Soap and cold water work effectively.

And I lessen my risk of cross contamination in my RA's by stating that I provide washable hand towels for each child (whichl is discarded in a basket after use). In my daily checklist I check there is sufficient soap / towels available for the day.

I have it on my daily check list to make sure that the bathroom is stocked with loo roll, towels, soap etc.
