I was in the library today, and mindee brought me over an A, B, C book. I started reading it, and everything was 'normal'...then I got to the letter L and it said "L is for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch! Well, I almost choked, and quickly moved on
Anyway, I really wanted to know what it meant, so googled it and it says it's the longest town name in wales and means "The Church of St Mary in the Hollow of White Hazel Trees near the Rapid Whirlpool by St Tysilio's of the Red Cave"

I was amazed...and I'm really glad I googled it (love it!) :D Just wanted to share this bit of knowledge with you all (sorry, if I bored you!)

ahh, I love googling things I don't know anything about I am always doing it.

It is good that the book included different "british" language like that , isn't it.

This is one of those useless facts I know as I remember a teacher in a primary school assembly telling us - not that I can tell anyone else as I cannot remember or pronounce it!!!
