Sorry everyone, not meaning to panic you with the title but just had a warning sent round about attempts at car-jacking.
Apparently there is a gang going round putting labels on rear windsreens, causing people to stop and get out to remove it from obstructing their view- whilst they are out of the car the thieves jump in and steal the car, running people over in the process, and then going off with the car and usually wallets/ purses, house keys , personal details etc.

So once again, don't mean to scare anyone, just be very careful- if this happens to you don't pull over in any isolated places, go to a garage or something and make sure there are people around, and if you have to get out take the keys with you and lock the car.

You can usually find these "warnings" here. Just do a google search & they come up.

Most are not real.
