Just browsing around the web and come across this site http://entitledto.co.uk and have come across information about chilminders earnings. It appears that only one third of your earnings is considered when working out your CTC and WTC so do they work that out when you renewing or do we have to take it of. has anyone else heard of this?

I believe its for working out Income support, housing /council tax benefits and not CTC or WTC. ( the one third rule- not the website i meant!)

I think that the site is a joke! I just went on and it told me that I could possibly qualify for tax credits and support for my rates.
On my wages along this won't work let along when I add in hubby's

I've never known what percentages they use... I just ring up and they tell me what I'll get if my income changes etc.
Different bodies use different percentages as well and it gets a bit complicated.
Best ring them... 0845 300 3900 :D
