Hi Everyone,
I childmind my 4 year old nephew. Is it ok for my husband to collect him from school officially? I know he is related but my husband isn't his childminder and I get paid for looking after him. Ofsted are coming this week, both days they could come I'm due to pick him up from school at 12 it would just be easier if I can stay at home. Just wondered if Ofsted would be ok with that? Thanks in advance x

I wouldn't risk it, you could technically have a private arrangment between mom and hubby that hubby drops child to you but as I say I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of the inspector.

Also, you might welcome the 5 minute break from your inspection?

take a half day holiday! then officially you're not working and hubby can collect him for you.
