Hi i am creating a reading corner for my children, we have a good selection of books but are allways looking for more, does anybody have any ideas where i may find any more, ages from 2-9. i normaly get a good selection from the local librarys but this has dried up of late :( . if you are looking to pass on some books i would love to know more, kind regrads and thanks for looking Roo. :)

I get loads from car boot sales and in sale boxes at the local charity shops.

Keep an eye out for multicultural and diverse ones and ones featuring disability... they are good in any collection.

will have to dig out my wellies and brolly and head out this weekend, thanks for the advice, kr roo :)

Have you thought of holding an Usborne book party?? You can invite your mindees parents and you own friends and family along and then u can get up to 20% of their orders in free books and they're brand new too!!

Jumble sales !! I've had some lovely books that look as good as new from jumble sales for 20p each. :thumbsup:

In fact that's where I get most of my books ( childrens and my own ).

Yeah, i got books from them for a toddler groups christmas presents 10 books for £10 and another set 20 books for £10. What a bargain :clapping:

Try asking on your local Freecycle, people might be having a clear out this time of year and be glad to get rid of them.
