Do you link your planning to the every child matters agenda?
I was on a course the other week and they had some really nice posters of every child matters framework, does anyone have these and know where i can get them from?

I can't help with the posters, but I don't link my obs to the every child matters framework just the EYFS. I have my policies filed in the every child matters though.

Me too, I link obs to 6 areas of learning and all paperwork to the ECM.

ECM and EYFS are 2 different things!

ECM is an overarching government aim to improve outcomes for all children.

You can use the 5 outcomes when setting out your policies and procedures and your Portfolio.

EYFS is the statutory learning and development tool for under 5s. It is the Eyfs that says we must observe, plan etc for children...

So it is the Eyfs you follow when you are writing children's paperwork for their learning journey.

Hth :D
