CRB checks

I have been going through my various piles of paperwork lately and had a sudden thought about CRB checks are we supposed to get them updated since we were first registered, its never been mentioned at my previous inspections but thought with all the new standards lately whether I needed to get another one done. I have one done this year through my daughters school as I'm on the PTA.

Hi, at present there is no requirement to update CRBs.

If this changes Ofsted will let us know. :D

Hi,

For whatever crazy reason, the additional CRB check for your PTA, you mentioned, will currently have no direct bearing on your childminding setting or vice versa.

Hopefully, some time in the future we may be able to have just one check for all settings.

I know its strange the way they do CRB checks, my daughters are at different schools so I have to have separate CRB checks for them both, they are next to each other, same council etc.. all this as well as my own childminding one!
