Hi Paula

Sounds like fun - I have never used it so let me know how it goes

I found this activity unsure how difficult it is to work with though ?

We used mod roc at school..we made tall figures from coat hangers-but obviously that activity is suited to older children only really.

We bent the wire coat hangers into shapes of people, and then covered them in mod roc-they looked really good

We have a huge roll left over from train set base building.

DD made a zebra with newspaper rolled and bent, taped more rolls on for legs etc and covered it, shaping on the way.

Took ages to dry but still has it 5 years on.

Also used it to make a model of a red blood cell (science yr 7  ) paper plate with pipe lagging round the edge and covered it all in mod roc. A bit advanced for young mindees but shows you can cover anything :D

We have made all sorts with mod roc - favourite being molds for easter island talking heads (older kiddie thing), and a very large volcano/mountain/waterfall scene for our dinosaurs and dinotrack.

We made a moon base out of it a while ago

We made an igloo for our arctic landscape. :) Love the moonscape.
