Must mind for an OFSTED Inspector!

Don't you think?

I wonder if anyone on here does? Maybe they do and they don't know about it

How scary!!! It probably feels like every day is an inspection, i for one would be terrified!

One of the ladies from my local group used to live next door to the inspector....does that count???

Im nowhere near an ofsted office so I think im safe from minding any of their children.

My inspector lives 3 miles up the road and her child goes to the same school as a friend of mine.

Me..... ;) She did it until the summer term ended and is now back teaching, but is desperate to get a full time job with ofsted. She was inspecting schools though, not childminders. Oh, and she is the loveliest person ever.

oh actually that would be great to be honest - think of the perks - you could slip her a variation request and if it was for her kids can't imagine it would be turned down. If you wanted clarification of a point you could ask at collection time rather than spending money on phone calls. You could ask them to tip you the wink when you were getting inspected and ask her to put a word in for you ;)
