One of my mum's has just offered some of next months fees early because she knows I am away next week on holiday, how thoughtful was that? Bless her.
Particularly welcoming as it came after a bit of a difficult day with her children and my car and dishwasher breaking down.

Just wanted to share :)

ps i didn't take any from her though, didn't tell her I've made my oh pay for ALL of it! ;)

It makes such a difference to feel appreciated! One of my mum's brought me a bunch of flowers for helping her out and swapping days this week!

The other one I wanted to share was from a mum of siblings I'd looked after for 7 years on leaving said - she really hoped that I knew just how much she and the children had appreciated me - I did she was my favourite mum but I think I may have a new favourite!

But don't get me started on the other parents grrr.

I had a lovely note through my door (made even more lovely because it was accompanied be payment!) thanking me soooo much more not charging for half term. She was having a terrible month financially and it bought a smile to her face.

Well she had signed a term time only contract!
