Went to look at cars this morning!!

Well finally got my dp to come look at a car with me this mornin he werent impressed at bein got up at 9am but he worked al day yesterday and is now at football till after 3pm so the least he cud do was a 30min trip 2 look at a car with me.

SO we looked at a 2litre diesel Zafira not my 1st choice but milage good an offer good didnt test drive wit havin no time an couldnt b bothered faffin with child seat in an out of mine.....

Ive tryin 2 work out if we cud manage with a 5seater but no we cant as I will mayb have an assistant when baby comes so a 7 seater wud b beta....

So we have been given the figures and wat finance wud b over 3yrs...

Wat do most of you do but it thru books an how do u do this??? Is it financially worth puttin thru books.............

If the vehicle is bought for £10,000 the capital allowance for year 1 is 40% -£4,000
but you can only claim the % used for cminding of that allowance say 10% or whatever you use,
the second year it is 25% of whatever the vehicle is then worth( the writing down value) and so on until the allowance is used up.
I would ring hmrc and just check.

so on a 2nd hand car not worth doin then an just claim the milage....
