hello another question!

are paoples RA's a list of general statements such as

I will ensure no toys are broken and dirty
I will hook the blind cords up out of the children's reach

or is it in a grid stating the hazard such as toys may be dirty and then in another box I will clean the toys

im confused i have done the statements and dont want to change them if they are ok!

thanks again all! :clapping:

If you look on the Bromley CMA website they have some good examples of how Risk Assessments can be set out!

blind cords, high risk of strangulation, hook up out of the way, now low risk done in a grid

Hazard - blind cords

Risk - strangulation

Risk level - medium (high is potential immediate death)

Control - hang up out of the way

Risk level now - low

You can put it into a table / grid or you can write it out eg...

Hazard / risk / level / control / level

Blind cords / strangulation / med / hang up / low

Some people use numbers 1 - 5 with 1 being low and 5 being imminent death, others use high, med and low - both are acceptable to Ofsted

Hth :D
