Just had 5 police breaking down my next door neighbours door and carting him off! Just as well it wasn't tomorrow afternoon when I have parent's visiting!!!:panic: :panic:

Has anyone got any funny stories to share about things that have occurred when having a parent visit?

well they did knock first, gotta give them that!! They knew I was in ( and not by the ruffling of the nets I hasten to add ;) ) because I was just getting back from Asda as they pulled up ( very nice they were too ;) )

As you say good job it was not tomorrow as the parents might have been put off and wondered if you live in an unsavoury area

yes, probably, from what my other nieghbour told me grrrr  drugs most likely.:censored: :censored: :censored:
I have to say this ISN@T an unsavoury area lol! All owner occupied semis. Nice and quiet, but you never know what goes on behind seemingly respectable closed doors do you? But unfortunately you get people like that all over these days :( my gosh I have come out in a cold sweat thinking how I would have handled that should it have been tomorrow!!

That was close! So glad they didn't do that tomorrow - just got to hope they don't seal the house off with police tape!

I had people opposite me raided by the police a couple of times at an old address and I found it really exciting! I'm easily pleased!

So glad it wasn't tomorrow then! Don't think you'd have gotten away with "we're doing about People Who Help Us as a topic at the moment, the local police kindly organised a demonstration for us today ... " :D

Glad it wasnt tomorrow!!

BTW what you said about your area....... Its the nicer areas more likely to have drug dealers living there!! Do you know the sort of money they make!! Just something to bear in mind. Its normally the druggies in the rough areas and the dealers living the high life.... bad world we live in if you ask me.

Glad he's been caught out anyway!

I didn't have parents visiting but I had mindees - when my friend rang and asked what 4 police cars were doing in the garages behind my house. I went up and looked out my bedroom window and promptly ducked when I saw guns being waved about by the police and another man:eek: .

Turned out that he and a mate had decided to rob the hospital opposite (for money  ) Why? Then their getaway car wouldn't start so they legged it. Obvously not the brightest people about.

And people ask why we moved away:D
