Hi ya, just taking a quick break from finishing my sef which I am going to submit tonight, thanks for the words of encouragement.

I was registered on 2nd of June and had my first mindee start on the 1st of September! So this is incredibly quick for me. I am really nervous. I have worked so so hard and I have done everything I know how to do and taken tips from all you generous lot and I am really banking on getting a good. So fingers crossed for a nice inspector and that the kids behave!

Just found out they are coming on Thursday and blow it but I have a new mindee starting then. I will be picking up a 4 year old at 11.30 who is starting in Reception and doing half days. Now I have no idea what she likes or what abilities she has as she only came to me last Monday, for breakfast from the first time.

Off to think something up to do with them.

Well she came! Finally! She said Good in all areas. So I am really please especially as I have only been minding a month.

She was glowing about everything I am doing and couldnt tell me where to improve other than to make sure I complete the Homebased Carers level one within 6 months.

Wish she could have given me some more ideas for further development. But when I pressed her on it she said she wasnt here to advise me, so speak to my development worker.

Thanks so much to everyone on here who have supported and advised me on everything I have found this site soooo helpful!
