That's good. It must be a bit hard for her, being woken up and taken out at that time, specially when it's dark. Think I might cry too! How many hours a day do you do???

I admire you for offering those hours. I wouldn't do it. I work Monday - Friday only and work between the hours of 7.30am & 6.30 at the very latest.

I know i have a business to run and people do work odd hours but i have a family to think about as well. I certainly wouldn't work on a weekend as again that if family/me time.

I couldnt do a 5 o'clock start.

My DH gets up at half 5 in the morning and leaves at 6 for work at half 6. I just roll over and go back to sleep until my alarm goes off at 7!!

The earliest I have had any start has been half 7. That wasnt too bad actually as we could take our time with breakfast, rather than one turn up at 8 and we have to leave at 8.20 for school run.

it`s not too bad when you get used to it but my mindee has just had 7 weeks off in slovakia with her grandparents so its a shock to the system after a break.

i do charge £1 extra per hour before 8.00am and after 6.00pm but sometimes still dosen`t feel enough:)

You should probably charge at least time and a half for that.
I thought I was bad, my earliest start is 5.45, not every morning thank goodness, but I have got 3 of those this week. My normal rate is 3.20 but it's 5.00 before 8am or after 6pm. The same family is my latest finish aswell, around 6.15pm so sometimes I get a long day, but not as many hours as you.
One of the playworkers at the stay and play today was saying how someone should open a 24hr nursery, as so many people like nurses and so on, struggle to find childcare to fit their shifts, can you imagine that
(probably make a fortune though!)
