I am looking for a biting policy and don't know quite how to word it and what to do if was in that situation, anyone possibly help please?

I put anything like that under my behaviour policy, I don't think its necessary to break down behaviour into different policies, it just creates more paperwork and more reading for parents.

My behaviour policy has 3 sections - Positive behaviour management / biting / bullying.

Biting goes through the procedure I take if a child is biting to protect me, protect the child confidentially and hopefully work in partnership to stop the biting before it becomes a big issue.

I think there's a policy on Bromley that might give you more ideas :D

I have references to harmful behaviour to others in the setting also. It's in my behaviour policy and the procedure I will follow when this occurs.
