Has anyone else recieved a leter about new fee's from the 1st of September?

It says

£200 for Childcare providers on non-domestic or domestic premises who operate for 3 or more hours each day and for 5or more days a week and 45 or more weeks a year

So if you work full-time we have to pay £200?!!! Are they having a laugh?:censored:

Stop panicking.. Childminders fees are £30.00, the £200 would be childcarers who run a nursery or creche from a domestic premisies. It was in the August Ofsted bulletin.

I've just phoned OFSTED. The £200 fee is for providers of childcare other than childminders ( nurseries, pre- school etc. ). For us , it's £30.
Panic over!!

mine too! the £200 is only for group care. Not sure about childminders working together though! Think it's to do with the number of staff AND children.

Paid mine yesterday and it was £30.00, which I think it still a rip off as it used to be £15.00:angry:

It was only £10 when osted first came in, but like everything else we have inflation! Beleive me £30 is very cheap compared to other Professional membership registration. :D

Yes but unfortunately "membership" to Ofsted is compulsory :(

I know some small pre-schools will really struggle to pay £200
