just to check

if we as childminders want to email ofsted to ask a question do we email the usual

enquiries@ofsted.gov.uk

or a different email (sorry for what may seem like a silly post!)

also - if you have emailed them - how quickly do they er..usually respond!

(am going to ask about rising 5's once and for all and will post my reply so others who are confused like me can have a look)

Yes that is the right email address.

I usually get a reply within 48 hours :D

Can I email them on that link to ask them if I have to have my new garden inspected? I was told on the phone to write a letter, but is email the same?

It depends if they want a signature on the letter or not...?

If they say write it might mean that's what they are expecting. :)
