Does anyone know where I can get the finger guards from that go down the hinge's of doors? I've had to fill in two incident forms now because children are getting their fingers stuck in them and I'm thinking Ofsted might be pleased if I take steps to do something about it!

I know you can get finger guards to go down the door hinge but not sure where to get them from, does anyone know?

Thanks

I've only got the one that go on top but if you place them close to the side the door is hung, these usually stop the door closing enough that fingers getting stuck between door and frame.

Got mine in mothercare but I would check some websites, sure to find something.

I have the ones that go over the tops of my doors as well.

I risk assess that they are there every morning because the teenagers tend to take them off.

I got mine in Mothercare too :D

I use these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Babydan-Finger-Safe-Set-2/dp/B000NUWGE0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1252947387&sr=8-1 and they work really well, when you don't need them they just hook on to the handle. I also use door stops/wedges.

I have one that goes right down the hinge of the door on my back door due to my worry of it shutting in the wind. Its from www.fingershield.co.uk and cost me about £20 but was well worth it.

I have similar door bangers (as we call them!)
