Don't know if I've done the right thing but started everyone off with fresh files at beginning of September and gave all files to the relevant parents. They were thrilled with them BUT now I'm thinking have I done the right thing for when Ofsted come?, I can get them back so not really a problem, obviously the leavers have been given to keep anyway.
What is the right thing to do? Have I been too keen! Should I keep everything until the child leaves? I know someone on here will know for definite!

There is no definite answer as it doesn't say in the Eyfs.

I think most of us keep them until the child leaves :D

Umm, yet another EYFS grey area!
Suppose if I don't get them back will soon find out on my inspection! Would be nice though if inspectors all sang form the same song sheet though wouldn't it?
