Hi again:)

Is anyone good at sums because my brain in in overdrive today!

My mindee's mum has just announced she is pg:) and will be on mat. leave from around March next year.
The mindee is term time only so he is here for 39 weeks a year, paid at £45 a day - so we worked out a monthly rate at £731.25 a month and if they did less than a year we would recalculate and see if I owe them money, or they owe me etc.

So how do I work out the figures? The 1st day mindee was here was 1st June 2009 and he is expected to leave 1st of March 2010. So do I calculate how many weeks he would have been here and the fee's for those weeks, then how much they would have paid up untill the beginning of March. Then see what the difference is?

my calculations:

by the 1st March 2010, mindee would have been here for 29 contracted weeks, at £225 a week = £6525.00

From June 09 to March 10, I would have recieved £6581.25

So I owe them £56.25?

If he attends on Monday 1st March, that is one extra day, so they will owe you an extra 45pounds.

So you would owe them 11.25, which I would hope they would write off.
