I mix a bit of red, yellow, blue and green annd it gets you brown!

All three primary colours, red blue and yellow, mixed together make brown.
or you could use orange and blue
green and red
purple and yellow
add black for darker or white for paler colours
Have you noticed with playdough, whatever colours you start with, when you mix them they always go brown!!

:laughing: I struggled to make brown last week! 5 yr old mindee took over mixing the colours and made a very dark purple instead. lol
Been told since that you need exactly the same amount of red, blue and yellow.

my preschoolers make brown every time I get the paints out. They mix all the colours together before putting the brush to paper:laughing: .

We use orange and just gradually add black. Seems to work for us :)
