this is my first post, but quick question, do ofsted allow for variation to cover 2 weeks, iam registered for 2 in early years group, plus my daughter, I currently look after a little boy in the afternoons who will be 1 on oct 28th, however just recieved a phone call, by a lady looking for childcare for a Lo whos 8months and wants to start on the oct 13th? which means for 2 weeks i would be putting my 1 under 1 ratio up. do any one think ofsted would allow this?

You can only ask them. I would hope that they would allow this but who knows?

They are taking up to 6 weeks to process variations at the moment...

You can only give them a call and ask :D
