qualifications needed

hello
i am at the pre reg stage of childmiding
a waiting my course at end of sept / oct

i have an nvq level ccld first aid certificate , food hygiene
plus some othe rcourse i have done through work

is there any other qualifications i will need to do before hand

hi your first aid needs to be a 12hr early years course and you will also have to do a safeguarding children course.

All courses should be resent (less than 3 years) and exactly what your county is asking for. Safeguarding although very relevent is not asked for in Hampshire

No its not required here - recommended but not necessary. The ICP and first aid is all that is required here unless they have changed it of course :)

i am in nottingham the first aid is pedatric has need for in a day nursery they where all done 2 years ago and dont run out till 2011 so hope they are ok
i ma booked on safe guarding children course on the 11 of nov all day course
apart from the childminding course which is the end of sept
would anyone now of any things else i need to do
