Planning/Activitie Ideas

I know some like to plan some don't personally I find it useful to have a idea of what I will be doing with the children in my care it helps me keep organised and ensures I have the right resourses to carry out activities while looking for new ideas in particular craft ideas I came across this website you may have seen it before but it has loads of ideas if you are working to themes or just looking for theme ideas it lists them A-Z and then goes in to detailed activities for each theme ie songs to sing books to read things to make. Its great inspiration and some of the crafting ideas sound fabulous.

Thats a great website. I have recently started planning, but am always child led. I can plan for a Bear Theme, and then midway through the children want to do Super Heroes. I just go with the flow. I have a planning sheet sperated into the 6 areas of learning, and that way I can think of something linked to the theme which covers each area. It's just a simple table with the area of learning,activities planned and resources needed.
We don't always cover everthing on the plan, but as someone on here said earlier, it helps to plan resources.
